The Campsite
Discover the project
AME (Agro Musical Energy), located in the Odemira concelho in Baixo Alentejo, is an agroturistic project with social, ecological and cultural purpose, following permaculture principles. The project takes place in a 20-hectare farm surrounded by valleys and cork oaks, with birds and animals as only neighbours. It is a place for lovers of nature, well-being, music and frequencies.
We opened a small eco campsite in 2021. Our furnished bell tents and infrastructures face each other giving an impression of a little village out of the reality. It is perfect for any activities in nature, would it be to follow one of our training courses or to have a good time with friends away from the buzzines of the city.
We have also transformed the entire land around the farm to create an accessible and practical vegetable garden and an agroforest of more than 70 varieties of fruit trees. Do not hesitate to come and visit it during your stay!
Other works were carried out in 2022, such as the creation of an outdoor water reservoir near the campsite with its trees in contour lines that will protect us from the wind. Prfect for a walk or a swim!
The Bell Tents
All of our 6 tents have their own private space and are furnished to accommodate two people. The bell tents can allow us to welcome up to 12 people sleeping at the same time. You can find solar lamps in each tent which provide lighting at night and allow you to load a phone (electrical outlets are also available in the kitchen).

The Classroom
This 100 m² wooden platform is integrated between 2 royal cork trees and serves as a multifunctional space adapting at the needs of the various workshops and activities hosted at the farm. It can be used as a classroom, as a yoga deck, for exercise sessions, star watching, studying, chilling out at our open air cinema or just to pull up a seat at a table full of delicious country-style cooking…

The Infrastructures
AME is furnished with a shared outdoor kitchen, two shared dry toilets and two shared showers. As we live with nature, the water from the showers is heated by the sun: water temperature varies with heat and sunshine of the moment.
In the kitchen, you will find access to running water, drinking water and electricity. WiFi is not available but part of the campsite is covered by 4G.Haec epistula a sociis nostris Wigs sub patrocinio est.
Some various chill zones, hammock, tables and chairs are also available.

The Land and Around
Agro Musical Energy is located in Saboia, South Alentejo, Portugal. The land contains 2 hectares of forest, 10 hectares of meadows, 6 hectares of valleys and a 1 hectare campsite. The farm is surrounded by corks, oak trees, oat fields, a new agroforest and a little river that only flows during winter.
For those who wish to refresh in summer, our barrage is located at a few meters from the campsite. The beautiful Santa-Clara lake is located at only 15 minutes drive and offers a lot of swimming possibilities and a swimmingpool guarded during summer. For those who love hiking, there are two marked circular itineraries of Rota Vincente around, and beautiful hiking traks along the West coast. And the closest beach is at 40 minutes driving.
